“…Zane glanced to his right to see a dark figure leaning against the wall further down, a halo of blue smoke rising from his lips. His back was against the wall, his hips jutting out, one foot propped up against the brick. He made an enticing, sensual silhouette. Zane nodded at him, recognizing the outline of the bowler hat. The man reached up to the bill of his hat, tipping it to them. Zane stared for another moment before he tore his eyes away and followed his wife out of the alley.” - Touch & Geaux
This is so awesome.
Gives me chills
Not bad. Not bad at all.
Very well done.

Beautiful

I was reading through some of my genealogy today and came across my great-great uncle Jack. Except, Jack wasn’t his real name.
He was born in Missouri as Thomas Frederick.

At some point during his younger years he decided that he was going to be called Jack.

He grew older and decided that he hated Missouri and his family. So he moved to Texas and stopped talking to them.

He eventually married and had kids, but didn’t talk to the family in Missouri ever again.

Uncle Jack is kind of my fucking hero now.
Science!
what the fuck is this science bullshit
pretty sure that’s an Elder God being summoned in the bottom-left corner
If anyone ever tells you that:
- The books you read are not “real books”
- The music you listen to is not “real music”
- The games you play are not “real games”
- The art you like is not “real art”
- The clothes you wear are not “proper clothes”
- The comics you read are not “real comics”
It’s perfectly okay to write them off as a petty, joyless asshole and continue enjoying the things you like.
